On Saturday February 18, 2017 I decided to plan a day trip to Skyline Regional park with two other friends. On Sunday we left North Phoenix are around 9:35 am. The weather was cloudy and rainy when we left. By the time we arrived at Skyline park rain was heavier and clouds covered all there peaks at skyline regional park. We decided to take Turnbuckle trail which took us around Vally vista peak. From there we took mountain wash to lost creek and and skyline crest to quartz mine. We hiked about 4 hours we covered 5miles loop around the Skyline park. Skyline Regional park also offers mountain bike trails and horse riding trails as well. All trails are dog friendly too.
